Shinseungback Kimyonghun: Aposematic Jacket (2015)

South Korean artist duo Shinseungback Kimyonghun demonstrate the absurdity of surveillance measures in the public sphere. The jacket they developed is equipped with numerous webcams and capable of filming the activities in public space at the push of a button in a 360-degree, all-round-view, and of transfering them to the Internet. On specific days in the city center, the visitors and inhabitants of Karlsruhe had the opportunity to encounter someone with this jacket before it became an exhibit in the exhibition »Global Control and Censorship« at the ZKM | Karlsruhe.
