Biography
Christian Chruxin studied at the Werkkunstschule Kassel and graduated from the Meisterschule für Graphik und Buchgewerbe in Berlin in 1961. From 1963 to 1966 he ran the gallery »situationen 60« with his wife Barbara Block. Among other things, he designed publications for various publishers, scenery and costume pictures for broadcasting, as well as exhibitions for various museums, including the Künstlerhaus Bethanien. From 1971 to 1977, Chruxin taught at the Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste Berlin.
Christian Chruxin's estate has been at the ZKM since 2016.
