Giovanna Targia
Biography
Giovanna Targia studied philosophy at the Scuola Normale Superiore and at the Università di Pisa. In 2009, she obtained a doctorate in art history at the Scuola Normale with a dissertation about an unpublished text of Aby Warburg, the lecture cycle Introduction to the culture of the early Italian Renaissance (1909), of which she published a critical edition (Published in Turin in 2013 and honoured with the DAAD Ladislao-Mittner-award)

2013-2014 Postdoc-Fellow at the Bibliotheca Hertziana, Rome
Since Octobre 2014: Humboldt-Fellow at the institution of art history of the LMU Munich.
