Annie Rüfenacht & Sandra Schmid

Annie Rüfenacht (*1988) is a composer and musician based in Bern, Switzerland. She holds an M.A. in Music & Media Arts from the University of the Arts in Bern. In the world of modular synths and patch cords she explores, performs and composes music and opens up a sonic space between electronica and experimental sounds. In her works she creates minimalistic sound textures and recurring rhythmic patterns that organically interweave. With her bands Aries Zaes, Volca Massaker Orchester and Berg & Berg she regularly tours in Europe. 

Sandra Schmid (*1988) lives and works in Bern. She is a graphic artist, web designer and photographer. She holds a B.A in Media & Art from Zurich University of the Arts, specialized in photography. Her interests include experimental and documentary photography, documentary film and music video production. As part of the collective »Schmiderei«, she produces music videos, documentaries, image and event films, short films, interviews and photo shoots.
