Biography
Piano and musicology studies in Moscow (1972-75). Composition studies with Richard Toop in Sydney (1975-79) and with Helmut Lachenmann in Hannover (1980-82). In the eighties active as a composer for drama and dance theatre: among others collaborators with Reinhild Hoffmann, Frank Patrick Steckel, Andrea Breth, at the Schauspielhaus Bochum, Schaubühne Berlin, Wiener Burgtheater. Since the beginning of the nineties she has turned her attention more torwards concert music (for chamber groups and orchestras), in addition she composed chamber operas and soundtracks for experimental and silent films.
