Trust issues in online elections

Prof. Dr. Melanie Volkamer discusses with us the question of who to trust in online elections.

The federal elections are coming up and once again the question of online elections arises. Two thirds of the citizens would like to have such an election. Perhaps you would too?

One question that is not always asked, however, is that of security and trust in such a process. Prof. Dr. Volkamer discusses with us who needs to be trusted in a digital election and why analogue voting is given more confidence than remote voting via letter or internet.

#meetdigilog is our format on Insta Live @zkmkarlsruhe! Be there live, meet our scientists and share your thoughts and ideas directly in the chat. Get practical tips and exciting knowledge about digitalization!
