Computer games and videogames are part of our everyday life and our culture – they entertain us, shape us and sometimes encourage us to deal with our world in a different way. But what does it mean to develop a computer game? What elements are involved? What does »game design« mean – and how does it work?

In the action tour »your next level«, we do not only get to know different games – we analyze the basic building blocks of games and take the first steps of every game designer: we design and build our own game!
