Laptop Friends – VJ & Projection Mapping Workshop

On August 3, 2018, ZKM organizes a video art workshop with Argentine digital artist and industrial designer Lucas Gutierrez. The workshop is for beginners and curious humans beings as well as intermediate and video-artists that want to experiment new tools and cook crazy videos directly on screen.

Everything you will need to start and/or improve your Visuals & Mapping sessions is here. Over the workshop, the participants will be introduced to the live visual capabilities of software such as MadMapper & Modul8. We'll »jam« and work together on an extensive list of new tools and super tips about how to create video mapping content while having fun with it in realtime.

Bring your laptop (Mac/PC) and video content! It is not necessary to have any software experience. We'll provide you (full) temporary licenses of the software and all the necessary information, tips + new apps.

The results of the workshop will be showcased during the audiovisual performance at the KAMUNA, on the August 4, 2018 at 9:30 pm.
