Sophie Hesse

Sophie Caecilia Hesse is a cultural manager and musicologist with a focus on transcultural and interdisciplinary work. During her studies at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar and the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena in musicology, transcultural music studies and intercultural music and event management, she worked in various areas of production and project organization, including the Afghanistan Music Research Centre and the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. From June 2018 to September 2020 she worked in the organization and implementation of projects and productions of the Hertz-Lab at ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe.
