The SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE Karlsruhe are an annual highlight in the UNESCO City of Media Arts Karlsruhe’s calendar. Every evening for about four weeks in August and September, the 170-meter-long façade of the Karlsruhe Baroque Palace becomes a vast screen for artists’ projection mapping contributions. The SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE 2024 will mark the 75th anniversary of the »Grundgesetz« of the Federal Republic of Germany. As a partner of the SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE, ZKM | Karlsruhe in collaboration with BBBank, is again offering the BBBank Award Projection Mapping 2024. The Open Call has now begun. International artists are invited to submit works on the topic of »Law and Democracy«.
