The American software developer and artistic researcher of live-sound production and interactivity, Bill Hsu, will present his most recent projects. His work focuses in particular on the influence of sound and image as produced by musicians, for which he develops in part intuitive interfaces. His collaborative works are above all concentrated on musicians whose playing is predominantly improvisational, and whose expressive field he extends by means of electronic interface.
The interactive software can be heard, together with the musicians John Butcher and Gino Robair, in a concert as part of art::archive::architectures an Saturday, 25 June, 2011.
