The »Punto y Raya Festival« is scheduled to take place at the ZKM from October 20–23, 2016. The films carry off the public into a world of abstract art in movement. Dubbed as the »most abstract festival of the world«, its participants have been exploring experimental forms of expression in cartoons, films and live cinema since 2007.
Exploring experimental expressions in animation, filmmaking, installation and live performance through the use of pure form, color, motion and sound, avoiding direct representation, the »Punto y Raya Festival« renders its films universal and timeless: only via dots and lines! Intercultural barriers are overcome and people from all over the world are brought together.
