- Location
- ZKM | Center for Art and Media
Culture on the Move is the new motto of the Karlsruhe Museum Night, KAMUNA for short, which is being held for the seventh time on 6 August 2005. The aim of the exhibition organisers participating in the event on the first Saturday in August is to make art and culture tangible through a fascinating mixture of liveliness and snapshots. The contribution of the ZKM consists of an extensive programme of tours and exhibitions ranging from media art classics to topical political and public issues.
Cool cocktails in an Asian setting at the Blue Lounge in Atrium 3. The special atmosphere here comes from a lamp light installation that is a pointer to the major ZKM exhibition Light Art from Artificial Light scheduled for the autumn. Snacks with delicacies from the Far East will be on sale outside the ZKM.

KAMUNA visitors can have their hair artistically styled by trendy hairdressers from the Wiesbaden salon Tausendschön and let their ears see the light of day again. The ensuing ‘happy new ears’ will enhance appreciation of the music in the ZKM Cube. Rounding off the programme will be productions from inside and outside ZKM by M. Schüttler, L. Brümmer und Y.
