One needs nature around and within herself. Re-Naturing is an approach to rediscover our nature within us and to express it with movement, voice, music and sound. 

Why are we forced to give up our nature? What is lost and where and how do we find it again? Movement, dance and texts will help us in our research.

In 2283 a group of fearless explorers enters a mysterious building in an otherwise deserted area. The participants gain access to the building and try to find out more about it - they find strange relics, devices that don't work, and everywhere strange lines that look almost like an ancient script but make no sense. The group sets out to decipher the secret of the building. 

You need: pen and paper
Digital requirements: Stable Internet connection, video conferencing facilities (camera and microphone). The action guided tour takes place online via zoom. The zoom link is sent out shortly before the start of the action guided tour.

No previous experience required.

The clock is ticking: In 14:22 minutes each we train our creative muscles. Our motto: Just do it - it becomes what it becomes. With monozukuri we do not wait for the creative impulse - we create it. It is not about creating great art or having brilliant, unprecedented ideas. Instead, our monozukuri sessions help to discover new things and simply have fun. 

Each short exercise takes exactly 14:22 minutes - no time? No more excuses, just try! We bring along various handmade mono exercises and create a creative retreat in virtual space. You can present your creative monos (Japanese "thing") at the end of the group or just keep it to yourself.

You need: Scissors, pens, paper, paper clips or other office materials, if necessary additionally mobile phone or camera (photo and/or video function)

Do you already communicate on chat platforms and understand each other perfectly without words thanks to a range of stickers? Then you've come to the right place! We'll show you how to create your own chat stickers! Afterwards, you can share your birthday party sticker packs on chat platforms.

Drawing with light! Is that possible? Sure it is! In our workshop, we will use torches to draw pictures in the dark and take photos of them. You will be amazed at the crazy and mysterious pictures that emerge.

To all the Makers out there, this workshop has it all! We will build the most amazing projects from the maker scene using a wide variety of materials and techniques. VibroBots, gnomes, sound apparatuses, soldering art and much more are available.

You will have plenty of time to experiment and let your imagination run wild. By the end of the workshop, you will have learned how to solder, glue and drill. You will also have mastered the basics of electrical engineering.

A hand that can draw a line. A pair of scissors that moves as if by magic. A journey to the moon. Is that possible? Yes, of course, in an animated film.

Create your own children's animated film: write a script, take the pictures with the iPad and add crazy sounds to your film! We'll find inspiration in the exhibitions at the ZKM.

»Calliope mini« is a small computer with which you can easily learn programming. In this workshop, we will show you the basics of programming and then develop your first own projects together with you, such as alarm systems, fans, Morse code devices or funny vibrating toothbrush animals.
