Biography
Anonima Group was founded in 1960 by Ernst Benkert, Francis Hewitt, and Ed Mieczkowski in the studio of Ernst Benkert in Springs, Long Island, NY, USA. The group organized several exhibitions in self-operated galleries: the 10021 gallery, Cleveland, OH, and the Anonima Gallery, New York, NY. It disbanded in 1971.
