The digital festival FEMINALE OF MUSIC in honor of women composers will close on May 1, 2020 with a festive finale presenting concerts, expert talks and a DJane set.
Beginning at 5 pm, all living room concerts produced during the festival will be repeated in the ZKM livestream. From 6.30 pm, concerts with works by female composition students of the Karlsruhe University of Music will be broadcast.
The festival will conclude with a two-hour live broadcast from 8 pm onwards, introducing the makers of the fanzine »grapefruits«, featuring live performances by composer Jiyun Park and DJane Panzerella, who will combine a wild mix of styles from pussy punk, disco violence, bastard pop and electric rock by and with the ladies. Participating in the live broadcast to celebrate with the audience is possible in Zoom by prior registration; interviews, concert and djane set will be broadcast simultaneously on the ZKM Livestream.

- Daniel Kaiser (piano) and Angelika Lenter (sopran) represent pieces of Louise Reichardt and Bettina von Arnim
- Jeanette La-Deur (piano), Elena La-Deur (Querflöte) and Andreas Reibenspies (bariton) represent piece by Margarete Schweikert
- Malika Reyad (mezzosopran), Eugenia Eichhorn (piano) and Christiane Möschle (Autorin) represent pieces by Clara Faisst and Pauline Viardot-Garcia with a reading from the book »Frauenperspektiven in Karlsruhe«
- Miriam Kurrle (sopran and piano) represent pieces by Henry Love
- Séverine Ballon (Cello) represent »Solitude« by Rebecca Saunders
6.30–7.40 pm: Concerts with works by female students of composition and music informatics at the University of Music Karlsruhe
