Children’s Radio Play Day
ARD Radio Play Days 2009
Sun, November 08, 2009 11:00 am CET
A party for the whole family. Plenty of children’s Radio Plays from ARD and Deutschlandradio, and on top of that, live happenings: hr2-Domino-Spielbox-Show, SWR2-Spielraum-Tour, songs, stories, and poems with Geraldino, ZKM-Workshops, Clown Halleconi, Lausch(listening)island, Choir-Workshop. And when Münchhausen – Hörspiel live (BR/young spectacle from the Bayerischen Staatsschauspiels/Bavarian State Theater) step on stage at the ZKM_Media Theater, they’ll lie like troopers. Additionally, the hilarious Schorsch will be making his rounds all day. The high point of the event is the live music radio play at 2 p.m. on HfG’s big stage: Fritz Mühlenweg’s children’s book classic, the adventure novel In geheimer Mission durch die Wüste Gobi with actors, musicians, the throat singer Baatma, members of the Mongolian choir 48. Breitengrad, and the horse head violinist Khoso.
Of course, there will be awards: the Deutsche Kinderhörspielpreis (German Children’s Radio Play Prize) and the Kinderhörspielpreis der Stadt Karlsruhe (City of Karlsruhe Children’s Radio Play Prize) will be presented at 3.15 p.m. in the ZKM_Foyer.
