Fri, March 23 – Sat, March 24, 2007

Location

Within the scholarship program of the ZKM | Institute for Music and Acoustics (IMA), hundreds of works have been created since the founding of the ZKM in 1989. For the anniversary celebration “10 Years ZKM in Hall A", "produced@rdquo; will take the opportunity to present selected works for loudspeakers that have been composed during this period. The ZKM, in cooperation with the Berlin Festival “Music in March” (Maerzmusik), was able to engage the three international soloists Yukiko Sugawara, Christian Dierstein and Marcus Weiss of the Trio Accanto to perform new works of the ZKM artists-in-residence Gianluca Ulivelli and Pei-Yu Shi. The performances will take place following the retrospective "tape concert" and present the most recent trends at the IMA.

The concert version will be performed on the occasion of the presentation of the DVD released in the WERGO series EDITION ZKM. Nature, or better said the phenomenon of the wilderness, has long influenced the compositions of Jorge E. Lopez.
