Biography
Thomas Gerwin is a classically educated composer who debuted very early in electroacoustic music, with soundscape compositions in 1993. He composes acoustic music, radio art, music for instruments and creates sound installations. In 1997, he created »Acoustic World Atlas«, an interactive sound(scape) installation at ZKM, Karlsruhe. He is the founder and artistic director of »Inter Art Project«, three ensembles and the annual »International Sound Art Festival Berlin«. His works have been released worldwide and have won international prizes and stipends.
