- Description
The ‘privacy paradox’ describes the phenomenon whereby people regularly share personal data despite having concerns about their privacy protection. They often willingly share personal information on social media or when using apps without giving data protection much thought, revealing a significant discrepancy between their self-perception and actual behavior.
An inclination to take risks is a consistent aspect of one’s personality. The Balloon Analogue Risk Task (BART) is a widely known instrument that is used to measure the willingness to take risks. The task involves blowing up a virtual balloon as much as possible without it bursting. With every click, the potential reward increases, but so does the risk of losing everything.
DareData offers insight into your disposition to risk. Which risks are you willing to take in the BART test? How much of a risk-taker are you in your everyday digital life? We invite you to give it a try and reflect on your risk-taking behavior.
