The first solo exhibition of the Korean-French artist Soun-Gui Kim in Germany provides a comprehensive insight into her artistic work. Starting with the deconstruction of painting in the 1970s, her works range from performance and photography to video and multimedia. The examination of Eastern and Western culture, philosophy and technology, as well as language and socially critical themes, always plays an essential role - just like the always playful overcoming of given patterns and formalities.
