Biografie
John H. Whitney studied at the Pomona College and Claremont University. 1937–1939 lived in Paris. 1957–1959 joined the Charles and Ray Eames Studio to work as a film specialist. 1960 founded Motion Graphics Inc. 1965–1969 IBM sponsorship to make computer-animated films. 1966 first artist to receive IBM artist-in-residence grant.
