- Biography
Anders Vinjar started his professional composition career in 1994. He specializes in the creative use of technology, programming languages, and use of computers in creative workflows.
His list of works includes electroacoustic music, acousmatic music, music for instruments as well as for live electronics and ensembles, web art, installations, music for dance, theater and movies.
He creates tools for composition and audio work, and is active in various open source projects and communities developing applications for computer-assisted composition (CAC) and digital signal processing DSP. Since 2013 he has been collaborating with IRCAM (Institut de recherche et coordination acoustique/musique) on continued development of »OpenMusic«, and its offspring »om#« (om-sharp).
