Patricia Feise-Mahnkopp
Biografie
Patricia Feise-Mahnkopp studied Literature, Theater, Media and Religion at the Humboldt-University in Berlin, the Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen in Potsdam-Babelsberg (HFF ‘Konrad Wolf), the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, USA (OSU) and the J.-M.-University in Würzburg. She holds a Master-degree in German Literature (HU Berlin), a Diploma-degree in Media Studies (HFF ‘Konrad Wolf’) and a Doctoral-degree in Media and Religious Studies (HU Berlin). She wrote her dissertation on the perception of the Holy in popular media culture and was a DFG-scholarship holder in 2003-2006. Her main research interest is the perception of media, especially of (popular, avantgarde and documentary) film. A.o. she tought at the OSU, the CvO-University and the University of Osnabrück. Since January 2015, she is a Junior Professor for Phenomenology at the Alanus Hochschule in Alfter bei Bonn / Studienzentrum Mannheim.
