How does transmedia storytelling work in live performances? In their workshop, Pep Gatell, president of Fundación Épica and co-founder and artistic director of La Fura dels Baus, and Pedro Lorente, CTO of Fundación Épica, invite you to develop new narrative tools. The hands-on session is aimed at artists and creatives interested in exploring technologies for live interaction with the audience as a second narrative and as a participatory tool via their smartphones.

Conditions of participation & application

Target audience: Professionals from Science, Technology, Artists and creatives interested in the use of new technologies. 
Audience capacity: from 12 to 20 creatives and artists. 
Submission requirements: CV (maximum 3 pages in .pdf format) and a one-page motivation letter.  
Technical requirements: each participant should bring their own laptop and smartphone with full battery.

»The Tempest at home« is the result of a collective, virtual and distributed experiment, carried on between Spain and Mexico, during the COVID-19 locked-down, done in collaboration with the Mexican National Theatre company in co-production with Festival Internacional Cervantino to be premiered during its 48 edition.
