Ana Dishlieska Mitova
Biografie
Ana Dishlieska Mitova, born on 20 May 1988 in Skopje, Macedonia has finished her undergraduate studies in 2012 on the Institute of Philosophy, Philosophical Faculty - Skopje as the best student of year. In the school year of 2010/11 she has been working as a course assistant at the Institute of Gender Studies at the Philosophical Faculty in Skopje on the following subjects: Women in Judaism, Christianity and Islam, Philosophy of Mind and Critical Approaches towards Masculinity. She is a member of the Philosophical Society of Macedonia from 2009, and from 2013 she is a technical secretary and member of the editorial board of the Macedonian philosophical journal Филозофска трибина (Philosophical Debate). At the moment, she is a member of the Society’s Executive council as a coordinator of the section of philosophy and film.
In 2010 as a student she founds and organizes the cultural manifestation Филозофски Филмски Фестивал (Philosophical Film Festival) which runs for its seventh edition in 2017, held in the Cinematheque of Macedonia for the past two years and organized in collaboration with the Philosophical Faculty, Ss. “Cyril and Methodius” University - Skopje, the Cinematheque of Macedonia and the University of Audiovisual Arts – European Film Academy ESRA Paris-Skopje-New York as partner institutions of the festival. For six years, she is the festival director and the creator of its concept and programme.
At the moment she lives and works in the area of cultural management in Luxembourg.
