This workshop will explore the algorithmic nature of Pauline Oliveros’ »Sonic Meditations« - 25 »special procedures« for participatory practice that expand sonic awareness, abandoning the traditional audience/performer relationship by re-situating music making within the collective, with specific attention to the healing power of sonic energy.
