Expanding our senses: BodyMedia

From the age of 16 up.

Every day we interact with technologies which expand our senses: cameras are being our eyes, Apps guide us through the city and interfaces recognise our fingerprints. In this online Workshop, Mira Hirtz invites you to explore these technological extensions of our senses with the means of performance. In the frame of the exhibition »BioMedia«, we will investigate how our relationships to an-organic existence enable creativity as well as critical reflection. We will use our own gadgets and our own bodies, senses and movement! No pre-experience in performance or the use of technologies is necessary, just bring your curiosity to experiment!

You need at home: paper, pen and a little bit of space to move.

Digital requirements: internet access, video conferencing capability (computer camera and microphone). The workshop will be hosted on zoom. We will send you the Zoom link shortly before the workshop begins.
