A Virtual Energy Tour through the East Town
Sun, July 12, 2020 4 pm CEST, Guided Tour
Online

What does energy system transformation actually mean and how does it contribute to the sustainable design of Karlsruhe's east town?

Where do we need to take a closer look in this context and what can we learn from the last 100 years of energy supply? These questions are at the heart of our first »tour of the critical zones«. As part of the exhibition »Critical Zones. Observatories for Earthly Politics«, the project »Energy Transformation in Dialogue« invites us to take a virtual tour of the east town.

The tour is led by Dr. Volker Stelzer and Marius Albiez. Both are scientists at the Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis at KIT. They are co-project leaders of »Energy Transformation in Dialogue«, which is funded by the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centers.

The event will be held in German language
