On October 14, there will be a special edition of the »Critical Break«, which usually invites visitors to a 30-minute virtual lunch break in the »Critical Zones« exhibition on the first Wednesday of every month. On this special edition, we are welcoming artist duo Gediminas and Nomeda Urbonas as guests at the ZKM. We will be able to sneak a peak of them setting up their artwork »Swamp Observatory« inside the »Critical Zones« exhibition and witness the first impressions of the swamp that will parasitically grow its way in the ZKM hall building! It's a first that such a look behind the scenes is now possible.

We will talk to the artists and look over their shoulders. As always, you are invited to ask Gediminas and Nomeda Urbonas questions in the Instagram Chat, and we will pass them on immediately so that a dialogue develops.

This event will be held in English.

All past »Critical Breaks« are also available to watch on Instagram TV. In German or English language.
