The picture shows encrypted cryptographic information and an identity card.
Sat, October 27, 2018 2 pm – 6 pm CEST, Workshop

Anyone surfing the Internet should ask themselves how personal data can be protected. Learn the basics of cryptography and encryption techniques and about the electronic identity card.

What cryptography and encryption technologies are, and how you can protect your personal data, you will learn in the workshop from KIT scientists.

In cooperation with the Competence Center for Applied Security Technology (KASTEL) and the BMBF-funded project secUnity, the ZKM offers a workshop for students aged 15 and over. One example is the electronic identity card, for which secUnity provides in-depth information material.

Following the workshop, a guided tour of the »Open Codes« exhibition will take place.
