Text »The Internet Yami-Ichi« in front of the »Open Codes« exhibition
Offline Shopping at the Internet Flea Market
Sun, April 07, 2019 12 pm – 5.30 pm CEST

»Yami-Ichi« [Internet Black Market] is a kind of flea market where people meet to sell or exchange »internet-like« goods or services in real space.

The first Yami-Ichi was organized in Tokyo in 2012 by the artist duo Exonemo and has travelled to numerous cities, including New York, Berlin, Moscow, Barcelona, Seoul – now it celebrates its premiere in Karlsruhe at the exhibition »Open Codes«!

Whether fine dust sensors, spam postcards, cool bots, 3D-printed Nintendo game rings or public data from the Internet, we are looking forward to creative ideas!

An Internet Yami-Ichi has two rules:

1. Offer internet-like things
2. No dangerous, harmful or illegal offers!

Please register with these details:

  • Number and names of participants
  • Contact details: E-mail and phone number
  • Name of booth and offer
  • How many tables or meters are needed?
  • Is electricity needed?
