Creative Coding for everyone! As part of the exhibition »Open Codes. The World as a Field of Data« Coder Elise Ross introduces to the programming language Processing and shows possibilities to make art out of program code.

Processing is a free open-source programming language. It is often used in media art, among other things to create and modify images and videos. Besides, it is well suited to learn programming.

In the workshop you will play creatively with code and try it out. At the same time, the basic building blocks of programming are learned, which are similar in all programming languages.

This course is explicitly aimed at participants who have never programed before. If possible, you can bring your own laptop with you on which the software has already been downloaded: https://processing.org/download
