TOTAL GAIA

With this blue print we let the sun draw for us. In the style of the author Anna Atkins, whose book was illustrated in 1843 exclusively with the photographic process of cyanotype, and in the exhibition "Critical Zones", which is visible in the work of the artist Sonia Levy, we use nature (or plants) as a model. We collect plants in the outdoor area of the ZKM. Afterwards we use cyanotype to illustrate them on paper that we have coated ourselves, using UV light. The participants can take a recipe for the procedure and their pictures with them.
