What happens to our data? Who collects what with what interest? As part of the exhibition »Open Codes. The World as a Field of Data«, a panel discussion will take place, focusing on the human being as a field of data.
The exhibition »Open Codes« asks: »Do we want to understand the world we live in?«. Dr. Stefan Brink, State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information in Baden-Württemberg, Dr. Bettina-Johanna Krings from the Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis (KIT) and Welf Schröter from the Forum Soziale Technikgestaltung (DGB) will continue this discussion: »How do we want to shape this world?« – a world in which the way we live and how we see the world is apparently determined by complex dynamics of incomprehensible codes, without our influence.
